Job summary

Parason Machinery (I) Pvt. Ltd. in India is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor for the machine shop to oversee daily production, schedules, and quality adherence.

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience and a mechanical engineering diploma or degree. You will coordinate with maintenance, quality and planning teams and manage operators on the shop floor. The ideal candidate will have CNC, VMC and SPM exposure, a solid understanding of engineering drawings, and a focus on safety

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of Machine Shop / Manufacturing experience.
• Hands-on exposure to CNC, VMC & SPM machines.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and machining processes.
• Strong shop-floor coordination and team-handling skills.
• Experience in engineering / manufacturing industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day machine shop production activities.
• Handle CNC, VMC and SPM machines.
• Monitor production schedules, productivity and machine utilization.
• Ensure quality, dimensional accuracy and adherence to drawings.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality and Planning departments.
• Manage operators and ensure optimum manpower utilization.
• Monitor tooling, consumables and machine availability.
• Ensure adherence to safety, 5S and shop-floor discipline.
• Maintain production reports and relevant records.
