Job summary

Tekskills in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB specialist to design, implement, and maintain a robust CMDB. You will lead CI class structures, data models, and governance, while optimizing Discovery and Service Mapping for accurate population and visibility.

You will integrate CMDB with external systems via APIs and MID Servers, monitor health with dashboards, and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery and Service Mapping in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of data modeling, CI relations and governance within ITIL frameworks.
• Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide) and experience with integrations via MID Servers.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 510 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.


• Strong knowledge of infrastructure components (servers, networks, cloud, applications).


• Expertise in JavaScript, Glide scripting, data modeling, and custom integrations.


• Hands-on experience with MID Servers, REST/SOAP APIs, and data integration tools.


• Solid understanding of ITIL v3/v4 framework, particularly Configuration Management.


• Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder interaction skills.


• Preferred Certifications:




• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)


• ServiceNow Discovery and/or CMDB Specialist Certification
