Job summary

Tekskills is seeking a ServiceNow CMDB Consultant who can design, implement, and govern a robust CMDB landscape. You will lead Discovery and Service Mapping to improve CI population, data accuracy, and visibility across complex IT environments.

You will mentor junior developers, collaborate with Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset teams, and ensure governance with comprehensive documentation and metrics. Remote work with monthly visits to Hyderabad client.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure components (servers, networks, cloud, applications).
• Expertise in JavaScript, Glide scripting, data modeling, and custom integrations.
• Hands-on experience with MID Servers, REST/SOAP APIs, and data integration tools.
• Solid understanding of ITIL v3/v4 framework, particularly Configuration Management.
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce CMDB governance processes and compliance.
• Align with ITIL best practices and work closely with Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management teams.
• Provide mentorship to junior developers and technical guidance within the team.
• Maintain documentation and present CMDB compliance/health metrics to stakeholders.
