Job summary

Spinny in Bangalore is seeking a Collection Executive – Field Collections to manage delinquent used-car loan accounts, recover EMIs, and maintain customer relationships in line with policy.

You will travel to meet customers, document interactions, coordinate with internal teams, and strive to reduce delinquencies while ensuring zero harassment and RBI compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate preferred; Graduate pass with relevant experience may be considered.
• 1–3 years in field collections, preferably Auto/Used Car Loans.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; willing to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Manage field collections and recover overdue EMIs for assigned accounts.
• Visit delinquent customers, explain options and secure timely payments.
• Track cases across delinquency buckets and meet monthly targets.
• Follow up on EMI bounce cases and PTP commitments.
• Maintain records of visits, status, and payments in the system.
• Coordinate with internal teams and agencies for resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and company policy.

Job Purpose

Responsible for managing delinquent used-car loan accounts, ensuring timely EMI recovery, maintaining customer relationships, and controlling portfolio delinquency while strictly adhering to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and the Collection Code of Conduct.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle field collections and recovery of overdue EMIs for assigned used-car loan accounts.
• Contact and visit delinquent customers and ensure timely payment/regularization of overdue accounts.
• Manage allocated cases across different delinquency buckets and achieve monthly collection targets.
• Follow up on EMI bounce cases, payment commitments and broken PTPs (Promise to Pay).
• Identify reasons for non-payment and work toward normalization, rollback and resolution of delinquent accounts.
• Maintain proper records of customer visits, follow-ups, PTPs and payment status in the collection system/app.
• Ensure timely deposition and proper accounting of collections as per company policy.
• Trace customers/vehicles in skip or difficult-to-contact cases through permitted and compliant methods.
• Coordinate with internal teams, collection agencies and other stakeholders for resolution of difficult cases.
• Support repossession/surrender-related processes only as per company policy and applicable regulatory/legal requirements.
• Ensure zero customer harassment and strict adherence to RBI guidelines, company Code of Conduct, customer privacy and data-security requirements.
• Immediately escape complaints, suspected fraud and sensitive customer cases to the reporting manager.

Candidate Profile

Education: Graduate preferred; Graduate pass candidates with relevant experience may also be considered.

Experience: 1–3 years in field collections, preferably Auto Loans, Used Car Loans, Vehicle Finance, Consumer Finance or NBFC collections.

Requirements: Good communication and negotiation skills, knowledge of the local geography, willingness to travel extensively for field visits, basic smartphone/collection-app proficiency, and preferably a two-wheeler with a valid driving licence.
