Job summary

Profound Human Resource Development Advisors in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Field Collections Team Lead to manage a team of field collection executives across assigned territories and drive recovery targets while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will oversee Banking/NBFC loan portfolios, coordinate with branches, and mentor staff in negotiation, customer handling, and MIS reporting. Willingness to travel and a two-wheeler are preferred.

Qualifications

  • 12th standard is preferred.
  • 25 years of experience in Banking/NBFC field collections or recovery.
  • 1–2 years of team-handling experience preferred.
  • Experience handling loan/credit-card collections is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of field collection processes and delinquency management.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and team-management skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise field collection executives handling Banking/NBFC loan portfolios.
  • Allocate overdue accounts and territories among team members.
  • Monitor daily field visits, promises-to-pay, and actual collections.
  • Drive recovery of overdue personal, business, consumer, vehicle loans, and credit cards.
  • Achieve monthly collection and recovery targets assigned by management.
  • Track DPD buckets, PTP, broken PTP, bounce cases, and delinquent accounts.
  • Conduct joint field visits with executives for difficult/high-value cases.
  • Handle customer escalations and negotiate payment arrangements within guidelines.
  • Review daily MIS and prepare collection performance reports.
  • Coordinate with Branch, Credit, Operations, Legal, and other teams for recovery issues.
  • Train and coach collection executives to improve productivity and recovery performance.
  • Ensure proper documentation and timely updating of collection activities in the system.
  • Ensure all field recovery activities comply with policies and regulations.

Job Summary

Responsible for managing a team of field collection executives for recovery of overdue loans and financial obligations across assigned territories. The role involves achieving collection targets, monitoring field activities, handling escalations, and ensuring compliance with the organization's collection policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise field collection executives handling Banking/NBFC loan portfolios.
  • Allocate overdue customer accounts and territories among team members.
  • Monitor daily field visits, customer contacts, promises-to-pay (PTP), and actual collections.
  • Drive recovery of overdue personal loans, business loans, consumer loans, vehicle loans, credit cards, or other assigned products.
  • Achieve monthly collection and recovery targets assigned by management.
  • Track DPD buckets, PTP, broken PTP, bounce cases, and delinquent accounts.
  • Conduct joint field visits with executives for difficult/high-value cases.
  • Handle customer escalations and negotiate payment arrangements within approved company guidelines.
  • Review daily MIS and prepare collection performance reports.
  • Coordinate with Branch, Credit, Operations, Legal, and other internal teams for recovery-related issues.
  • Train and coach collection executives to improve productivity and recovery performance.
  • Ensure proper documentation and timely updating of collection activities in the system/app.
  • Ensure all field recovery activities are conducted professionally and in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Candidate Profile
  • 12th preferred.
  • 25 years of experience in Banking/NBFC field collections or recovery.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of team-handling experience preferred.
  • Experience handling loan/credit-card collection portfolios will be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of field collection processes and delinquency management.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and team-management skills.
  • Target-oriented and willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
