Job summary

Freight Commerce Solutions is seeking a Credit Control professional to manage revenue collection and monitor outstanding payments. You will follow up with customers, reconcile accounts, and maintain clear records to ensure timely cash collection.

The role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, with experience in Excel and collection tools. You will negotiate payment plans and resolve billing disputes while upholding compliance and confidentiality.

About the Role:

Credit Control/ revenue collection .Reconciliation of pending payments and understanding of receivables. MIS/ excel exposure. Relationship management.Take Ownership and Ability to execute, hit numbers/goals, and meet deadlines.

Key responsibilities:

• Follow-up on Outstanding Payments: Contact customers via calls, emails, or visits to recover pending dues and ensure timely payments.
• Reconciliation of account statements: Reconcile outstanding customer balances and resolve discrepancies.
• Negotiate and Resolve Issues: Discuss payment plans, resolve billing disputes, and maintain a customer-friendly yet firm approach.
• Escalation of High Risk Accounts: Escalate high-risk accounts to the Collection Manager for further action.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Update customer interactions, payment status, and generate regular reports on collection progress.
• Ensure Compliance: Adhere to company policies and legal guidelines while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Preferred qualifications:

1. Experience & Education: Graduate with 1–3 years of experience in collections or customer follow-up roles, preferably in banking, NBFCs, or similar sectors.
   
2. Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with working knowledge of Excel and collection tools.
   
3. Attitude: Target-driven, detail-oriented, and able to handle pressure while maintaining professionalism with customers.
