Job summary

Orion in India seeks a diligent collections executive to follow up with customers through calls, emails, and messages for outstanding payments and to ensure timely collection per credit terms.

You will maintain records of invoices and payments, coordinate with sales and accounts to resolve discrepancies, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports while aiming to meet monthly targets.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with customers through calls, emails, and messages for outstanding payments.
• Ensure timely collection of payments as per agreed credit terms.
• Maintain records of outstanding invoices, payment commitments, and collection status.
• Coordinate with the sales and accounts teams to resolve payment discrepancies.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports.
• Identify overdue accounts and take appropriate follow-up actions.
• Reconcile customer accounts and verify payment details.
• Handle customer queries related to invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
• Escalate delayed or disputed payments to the reporting manager.
• Achieve monthly collection targets and minimize overdue receivables.
