Job summary

Hindustan Aeronotics in Bangalore (HAL) is looking for a CNC 5 Axis Milling Operator with 2–6 years of experience. The role involves process planning, programming, setup, and operation of 5-axis CNC machines to meet precise specifications.

Qualifications

• ITI or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 to 6 years of CNC milling experience.
• Experience with Siemens CNC controller and 4-5 axis machines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for process planning, tool and cutting parameter selection, programming, setup and operation for machining parts on 5 axis CNC Machine Centre.
• Plans machining by studying blueprints, engineering plans, materials, and orthographic drawings.
• Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
• Study required sequence of operations.
• Fastens raw material and respective tool or cutter in fixture, according to sequence of operation, on appropriate machine.
• Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.

Salary: 25,000 - 60,000 per month

Job Type: Full-time | Permanent Payroll (with all statutory benefits)

Experience Required: 2 to 6 years
