Job summary

Skyeagle Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Site Engineer to assist in planning, coordinating, and executing civil construction projects on-site in Pune. You will oversee daily activities, ensure quality, and monitor progress to meet milestones and maintain safety.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, has hands-on experience in site supervision, and demonstrates strong communication and time-management skills to report to the Senior Site Engineer and project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects, including site preparation, foundation work, structural elements, and finishing works.
• Quality Control: Ensure that construction activities meet the required quality standards and comply with project specifications and industry best practices.
• On-Site Supervision: Oversee daily construction activities, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones.
• Material Management: Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of construction materials and monitor their usage and wastage on-site.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety inspections, and promoting a culture of safety among the workforce.
• Work Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the Senior Site Engineer and project management team, highlighting achievements and areas needing attention.
• Troubleshooting: Address and resolve technical issues and challenges on-site, collaborating with the Senior Site Engineer and other stakeholders to find effective solutions.
• Drawing and Documentation: Interpret construction drawings and ensure accurate implementation on-site. Maintain up-to-date records of site activities, approvals, and other relevant documentation.
• Client Coordination: Interact with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to provide project updates, address queries, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Coordination with Subcontractors: Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure smooth execution of specialized tasks and timely completion of project milestones.
• Resource Management: Optimize resource utilization, including labor and equipment, to achieve project objectives efficiently.
• Adherence to Budget: Work closely with the Senior Site Engineer and project management team to control project costs and avoid budget overruns.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Site Engineer or a similar role in the civil and construction industries, demonstrating knowledge of construction methods and procedures.
• Technical Skills: Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and building codes and regulations.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address on-site challenges proactively.
