Royal China in Mumbai is seeking a skilled Chinese Chef with strong knowledge of authentic Chinese cuisine, professional kitchen operations and food safety standards. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a reputed Chinese restaurant, premium dining establishment or five-star hotel.

This full-time role requires minimum 2 years in Chinese cuisine, a Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts, and proficiency in wok cooking and traditional techniques.

• Minimum 2 years of experience specialising in Chinese cuisine.
• Previous experience in a reputed Chinese restaurant, premium dining establishment or five-star hotel preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare authentic Chinese dishes while maintaining consistent quality, taste and presentation.
• Demonstrate expertise in wok cooking, sauces, stir-fries and traditional Chinese cooking techniques.
• Follow standardised recipes, portion sizes and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain strict food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with FSSAI requirements.
• Coordinate with Head Chef and kitchen team for efficient food preparation and service.

About the Role

Royal China is seeking a skilled and experienced Chinese Chef with strong knowledge of authentic Chinese cuisine, professional kitchen operations and food safety standards.

The ideal candidate should have experience working in a reputed Chinese restaurant, premium dining establishment or five-star hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic Chinese dishes while maintaining consistent quality, taste and presentation.
• Demonstrate expertise in wok cooking, sauces, stir-fries and traditional Chinese cooking techniques.
• Follow standardised recipes, portion sizes and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain strict food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with FSSAI requirements.
• Ensure proper food storage, temperature control, labelling and stock rotation.
• Monitor ingredient quality, inventory, food wastage and portion control.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations and equipment.
• Coordinate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
• Follow kitchen SOPs and assist with training junior kitchen staff.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience specialising in Chinese cuisine.
• Previous experience in a reputed Chinese restaurant, premium dining establishment or five-star hotel preferred.

• Experience in wok cooking is essential.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.

Salary & Benefits

40,000–60,000 per month, depending on skills, qualifications and experience.
