• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas).
• Experience with major ERP/accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Sage).
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and the ability to explain financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash receipts, and general ledger.
• Lead Month-End & Year-End close process to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior management.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal accounting regulations and tax laws; coordinate regulatory reporting and tax filings.
• Establish, implement, and maintain internal accounting controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations during annual financial audits.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accuracy.
