Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. in Kolkata seeks an experienced accounting professional to lead daily operations, month-end close, and financial reporting.

You will oversee AP/AR, payroll, GL, and internal controls while coordinating with auditors and senior management. The role requires 5+ years in accounting, with CPA/CMA being a strong plus, and proficiency in Excel with ERP experience (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP or Sage).

Qualificações

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory accounting role.
• Certification: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) designation is a strong plus.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, high ethical standards, and the ability to explain financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash receipts, and general ledger.
• Lead the closing process to ensure timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting.
• Prepare, analyze, and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior management.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal accounting regulations and tax laws; coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and tax filings.
• Establish, implement, and maintain internal accounting controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations during annual financial audits.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accuracy.
