Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, and GL. You will lead month-end and year-end closes and ensure compliant financial reporting to senior management.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting with supervisory experience; CPA/CMA is a plus. Strong Excel and ERP skills (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Sage) are essential for accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory accounting role.
• CPA or CMA designation is a strong plus.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas).
• Strong working knowledge of major accounting software/ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Sage).
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, high ethical standards, and the ability to explain financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash receipts, and general ledger.

• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior management.

• Serve as primary contact for external auditors; provide documentation and explanations during audits.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate junior accounting staff to foster accuracy and continuous improvement.
