Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage daily financial operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with regulations. You will lead month-end close, prepare financial statements, and liaise with auditors to support annual audits.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA or CMA, a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, and 5+ years of experience, including supervisory roles, with strong Excel and ERP software skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) designation is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash receipts, and general ledger.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior management.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal accounting regulations and tax laws; coordinate regulatory reporting and tax filings.
• Establish, implement, and maintain internal accounting controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors, providing documentation and explanations during audits.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate junior accounting staff to foster accuracy and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Operations: Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash receipts, and general ledger.
• Month-End & Year-End Close: Lead the closing process to ensure timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior management.
• Compliance & Tax: Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal accounting regulations and tax laws; coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and tax filings.
• Internal Controls: Establish, implement, and maintain internal accounting controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Audit Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations during annual financial audits.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accuracy.
