Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. in Gurugram seeks a Senior Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, and GL, and to drive timely month-end and year-end closes.

The role requires 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, 2+ years in a supervisory capacity, and familiarity with major ERP systems (QuickBooks/NetSuite/SAP/Sage). CPA/CMA is a strong plus. This is an on-site role with a focus on accuracy and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in progressive accounting roles, with 2+ years in senior/supervisory capacity.
• Certification: CPA or CMA designation is a strong plus.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including vlookups, pivot tables, and formulas.
• Familiarity with major ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Sage).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of accounting department: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash receipts, and general ledger.
• Lead month-end and year-end close to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior management.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal accounting regulations and tax laws; coordinate regulatory reporting and tax filings.
• Establish, implement, and maintain internal accounting controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations during annual financial audits.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate junior accounting staff.
