Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas).
• Working knowledge of major accounting software/ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Sage).
• Attention to detail, problem-solving, ethics, and ability to explain financial data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash receipts, and general ledger.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior management.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal accounting regulations and tax laws; coordinate regulatory reporting and tax filings.
• Establish, implement, and maintain internal accounting controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, providing documentation and explanations during audits.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate junior accounting staff.
