Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. seeks an experienced accounting leader to manage daily financial operations, close processes, and reporting for senior management in Surat. This role requires a strong background in accounting, ERP systems, and staff mentorship.

You will ensure compliance with tax laws, maintain internal controls, and act as the main liaison with external auditors. A CPA/CMA is a strong plus, with a focus on accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• CPA or CMA designation is a strong plus.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas).
• Experience with major ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Sage).
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, high ethical standards, and ability to explain financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash receipts, and general ledger.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes for timely financial reporting.
• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior management.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal accounting regulations and tax laws; coordinate regulatory reporting and tax filings.
• Establish, implement, and maintain internal accounting controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, providing documentation and explanations during annual audits.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills

• Certification: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) designation is a strong plus.
