Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals in Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Pune seeks a dynamic Solar Rooftop Sales Leader to drive growth in residential, commercial, and industrial segments. You will lead a sales team, develop strategies, and expand the customer base.

The role requires strong technical understanding of rooftop solar design, a robust network in the solar or real estate sector, and the ability to close deals while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of rooftop solar system design and sizing.
• Existing network in solar or real estate sectors.
• Experience with DISCOMs and subsidy schemes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and train a sales team.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement rooftop solar sales strategies.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
• Manage the end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, site assessment coordination, proposal development, customer negotiations, and deal closure.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Collaborate with the technical and project teams to ensure seamless execution of installations.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management.
• Stay updated on industry trends, policy changes, and competitor activity.
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of solar sales executives or channel partners as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Location: Kolkata, Hyderabad & Pune

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Solar PV Systems, Solar Rooftop sales, Excellent sales skills, and Experience in managing a sales team. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, expanding customer base, and achieving sales targets in the rooftop solar segment (residential, commercial, and industrial).

Critical skills / competencies required - Functional

• Technical understanding of rooftop solar system design and sizing.
• Existing network in the solar or real estate sector.
• Experience working with DISCOMs and knowledge of government subsidy schemes.
