Exide Industries seeks a Regional Sales Manager - Rooftop Solar Solutions to drive residential and C&I rooftop solar sales. The role focuses on market understanding, techno-commercial sales, and developing installer partners to generate rooftop leads in Pune and surrounding areas.

The candidate should have 5–10 years in solar sales, be self-motivated, and hold a B.Tech/B.E in electrical engineering. Independence and strong opportunity management are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Understand Rooftop Solar market and policies.
• Demonstrate techno-commercial knowledge of Rooftop Solar systems and components.
• Sell residential and C&I rooftop solar systems directly to end customers.
• Onboard and manage installer partners to generate rooftop leads.
• Generate leads through BTL activities, local events and campaigns.
• Understand and navigate government policies for Rooftop Solar (PM Suryaghar) and state net metering regulations.

• Understanding of Rooftop Solar market.
• Techno-commercial knowledge of a Rooftop Solar system and its components.
• Experience in selling residential and C&I systems directly to end customers.
• Few installer partners who he/she can start getting rooftop leads from.
• Experience in onboarding and managing partners.
• Experience in generating leads through BTL activities, local events, etc
• Government Policies for Rooftop Solar (mainly PM Suryaghar) and how they have evolved over the years.
• Local state policies wrt Solar and net metering regulations.

Preferred candidate profile
