Job summary

Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach, part of the Accor group, is seeking a dynamic hospitality sales professional to spearhead catering sales. You will handle inquiries from corporate, social, wedding and MICE clients and drive new business through market visits and referrals.

You will conduct client meetings, prepare proposals and contracts, coordinate with banquet, F&B and other departments, and ensure timely payments while aiming to meet monthly and yearly sales targets.

Qualifications

• Handle catering sales enquiries from corporate, social, wedding, and MICE clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through market visits, networking, and client referrals.
• Conduct client meetings, site inspections, presentations, and venue visits.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, contracts, and event packages as per client requirements.
• Follow up on enquiries and convert leads into confirmed events and business.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop repeat business.
• Coordinate with Banquets, F&B, Kitchen, Front Office, and other departments for seamless event planning and execution.
• Understand client requirements, menu preferences, event setup, and other operational details.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and potential business opportunities.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and proper documentation for confirmed events.
• Maintain accurate records of enquiries, sales calls, client meetings, and confirmed business.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as assigned by the management.
