Job summary

SOBO XPERT is seeking a senior advisor in Mumbai to drive real estate finance, feasibility, and transaction structuring. You will underwrite redevelopment and landowner opportunities, lead JV/JD negotiations, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to closures.

You will engage with developers, investors, and institutional clients, delivering rigorous market analysis and advisory services across capital markets and regulatory reviews.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in real estate advisory and capital markets.
• Strong exposure to land acquisitions, redevelopments and transactions.
• Excellent negotiation and client advisory skills.
• Ability to coordinate across legal, financial and development teams.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate landowners, developers, investors, and strategic development opportunities across Mumbai.
• Manage JV/JD negotiations and landowner discussions.
• Coordinate mandates and transaction structuring with legal, technical, and financial teams.
• Provide client advisory support to HNI/UHNI, developers, landowners and institutions.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Strong expertise in real estate financial modelling, feasibility analysis, valuation, cash-flow analysis and project underwriting.
• In-depth understanding of DCPR 2034, FSI, development potential and project feasibility.
• Experience in Society Redevelopment, SRA, Cluster Redevelopment, JV, JD and Landowner transactions.
• Strong knowledge of land acquisition, development structuring, transaction advisory and capital markets.
• Ability to conduct title due diligence, regulatory review, market research, project assessment and transaction risk analysis.
• Identify and evaluate landowners, developers, investors and strategic development opportunities across Mumbai.
• Manage JV/JD negotiations, landowner discussions, developer mandates and transaction structuring.
• Strong client advisory skills with exposure to HNI/UHNI, developers, landowners, investors and institutional stakeholders.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple mandates and coordinate legal, technical, financial and development teams through transaction closure.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and financial analysis.
• Prior experience in Real Estate Advisory, Capital Markets, Land Acquisition, Redevelopment or Investment Banking preferred.
