Job summary

AKMV Consultants Pvt Ltd in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Real Estate Acquisitions / Transactions professional to drive sourcing and execution of development opportunities across Mumbai. This is a deal-oriented role covering the full transaction lifecycle—from identifying opportunities and evaluating feasibility to negotiation, due diligence, documentation and closure.

Ideal candidates have 8–15 years in real estate acquisitions and strong knowledge of JDA/JV, land redevelopment, and Mumbai

Qualifications

• 8–15 years in real estate acquisitions, transactions, investments, development or business development.
• Hands-on experience in land acquisition, redevelopment, JDA/JV or development partnership transactions.
• Good understanding of Mumbai regulations (DCPR 2034).
• Strong financial and commercial understanding, including project feasibility and transaction structuring.
• Proven negotiation and transaction management skills.
• Strong network of landowners, brokers and real estate intermediaries.

Responsibilities

• Source land, redevelopment, JDA/JV and strategic development opportunities across Mumbai.
• Build and leverage relationships with landowners, brokers, consultants and intermediaries.
• Evaluate development potential, transaction economics and commercial viability.
• Assess land cost, revenue potential, development costs and project returns.
• Structure and negotiate acquisitions, JVs, JDAs and other development partnerships.
• Coordinate legal, title, technical, financial and regulatory due diligence.
• Drive transactions through documentation and closure. Work with design, liaison, finance, legal, sales and project teams to take projects towards launch.
