Job summary

One Sgg in Mumbai seeks a seasoned Regulatory Compliance & Approvals lead to manage end-to-end approvals for luxury residential and commercial developments, liaising with municipal bodies and statutory authorities.

You will monitor regulatory changes, prepare documentation, coordinate with architects, legal teams, consultants, and government departments, and report to senior management.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end approval processes for luxury residential, commercial
• Liaise with municipal corporations, urban development authorities, environmental departments, fire authorities, airport authorities, pollution control boards, and other statutory bodies.

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure all approvals and documentation comply with applicable development control regulations, local authority norms, and state government policies.
• Monitor changes in real estate regulations and proactively assess their impact on ongoing and future projects.
• Maintain records and trackers for all statutory approvals and timelines.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with architects, legal teams, consultants, contractors, and internal project stakeholders for documentation and submission requirements.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with government departments and external agencies.
• Represent the organization during meetings with authorities and consultants.

Project Monitoring

• Track approval timelines and proactively identify bottlenecks.
• Escalate critical issues and recommend practical solutions to avoid project delays.
• Support management in project feasibility assessments from an approvals perspective.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare status reports, approval matrices, and compliance updates for senior management.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all approvals and correspondence.

• Any Graduate /MBA (Real Estate) or CA
• Prior experience with real estate developers.
• Deep understanding of Mumbai real estate market dynamics and its regulations
• Familiarity with DCPR and regulatory frameworks
