Job summary

TVS Motor Company in Hosur, Tamil Nadu is seeking an Analysis Engineer - DAG to perform structural durability analysis of two-wheeler components using FEA and to provide design recommendations to meet QCD targets.

The role requires 0-5 years of experience and a postgraduate in Mechanical Engineering. You will work on CAE methodologies, model validation, and design optimization across ICE/EV concepts.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate in Mechanical Engineering from reputed institute (IITs/NITs).
• Experience in structural durability analysis and FEA is desirable.
• Ability to correlate simulations with testing to improve model accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural durability analysis of two wheeler components and assemblies using FEA and provide design recommendations to meet the QCD targets.
• Continuously improve the analysis correlation with testing and strive for design optimization.
• Perform system-level FEA modelling and simulation for 2W (ICE/EV) Body works & Chassis components.
• Support simulation studies for Body works & Chassis systems to perform Modal, FRF, Random response, Strength, & Random Fatigue simulations based on project requirements.
• Analyze simulation results, identify key performance drivers and provide engineering recommendations to support design decisions.
• Correlate simulation results with test/experimental data and support improvement of model accuracy.
• Support benchmarking, target setting and prognosis studies for new ICE/HEV/EV concepts.
• Support product development through design optimization.
• Document simulation methodology, assumptions, results and conclusions and present findings to project stakeholders.
• Develop and improve CAE methodologies for durability assessment.
• Tolerance stack up & reliability analysis for design sensitivity /optimization study.
