Job summary

Classic Search is seeking a Technical & Solutions Sales professional to bridge customer needs with engineering solutions and drive business growth. You will assess operations by touring customer factories to understand production and packaging processes and identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency.

You will collaborate with the customer’s technical team and our internal engineering group to design the right solution, build the business case, and convert opportunities into signed

Qualifications

• Proven sales track record in engineered capital equipment or automation solutions.
• Experience selling to FMCG, Food & Beverage, Consumer Products, Pharma or Cosmetics sectors is preferred.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering, Project Management, Packaging Development and Procurement.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

As a Technical & Solutions Sales person you will bridge the gap between customer needs and the engineering solutions our client provides to drive business growth.

• Assess Client Operations: Tour customer factories to deeply understand their production and packaging processes.
• Identify Opportunities: Spot operational bottlenecks and areas where automation can improve efficiency.
• Collaborate on Solutions: Consult with the customers technical team and partner with the client's internal engineering team to design the right solution.
• Deliver Value & Close Deals: Build the commercial business case and successfully convert technical opportunities into signed orders.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven Sales Track Record: You must have direct, personal experience selling engineered capital equipment or automation solutions.
• Industry Background: Preference is given to candidates who have handled Machinery Sales to companies in the FMCG, Food & Beverage, Consumer Products, Pharma, or Cosmetics sectors.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: You should have experience dealing directly with internal corporate functions, specifically:
• Production & Engineering
• Project Management
• Packaging Development
• Procurement
• Should have experience in handling commercials, Negotiations, serve as the laison between the client and internal design team to bridge any communication gaps,Visiting factoroes, Making presentations
• Worked on customised rather than purely standard machines
• Developed layouts and line concepts with customers both domestically and overseas.
