Job summary

Packten Packaging Solutions in India seeks a technical sales professional to visit manufacturers, assess current packing lines, and design the right solution—standard or custom—with our engineers.

You will manage enquiries from first contact through quotation, negotiation and hand-over to production, while travelling regionally to meet clients and showcase capabilities at exhibitions. A hands-on role at the interface of sales and engineering.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or proven machinery sales experience.
• Comfortable discussing throughput, film widths and line speeds.
• Willing to travel regionally; fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati.

Job description

This is a technical sales role, not a call-centre one. You will visit manufacturers, look at how they pack today, work out what throughput they actually need, and propose the right machine — sometimes a standard model, sometimes a custom line designed with our engineers.
