Job summary

Krishgen Biosystems India is seeking a Business Development Executive for a complete field-based sales role. The candidate will regularly visit customers, understand their requirements, and drive revenue growth across life sciences products including ELISA, PCR reagents, cell culture, antibodies and recombinant proteins.

The profile requires 2–3 years of sales experience in biotech, a BSc/MSc in Biotech or Microbiology, and the ability to operate 100% in the field.

Qualifications

• Minimum: BSc/MSc (Biotech/Microbiology).
• 2–3 years of sales or similar biotech/life sciences experience.
• 100% field based, not office-based.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales for customers by regularly visiting and understanding their requirements.
• Adopt a planned sales process and generate leads from new and existing customers.
• Submit sales prospect reports and daily visit/follow-up reports to HO.
• Contribute to increasing market share by finding new prospects.
• Explore and establish new users and customers for ELISA, PCR reagents, cell culture, antibodies and recombinant proteins.
• Provide input on competitor activities and market scenarios.

• Obtaining customer feedback on regular basis.
• Provide input on competitor activities, market scenario, etc.
• Any other work assigned from time to time.
