Job summary

Cars24 is seeking a Yard Operations professional to oversee vehicle receiving, parking, movement, staging and dispatch. You will optimize yard capacity, ensure SLA adherence, and coordinate with transporters, vendors, drivers, and internal teams to keep operations smooth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 1 - 10 years of experience in Yard Operations, Logistics, Fleet, Warehouse, Supply Chain, or Documentation.
• Knowledge of vehicle documentation and statutory compliance is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and operational systems.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage vehicle receiving, parking, movement, staging, and dispatch.
• Optimize yard capacity and ensure SLA adherence.
• Coordinate with transporters, vendors, drivers, and internal teams.
• Monitor TATs, resolve bottlenecks, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure yard safety, SOP compliance, and operational discipline.
• Lead ground teams to drive productivity and execution.
• Verify and manage RCs, insurance, invoices, gate passes, NOCs, and other statutory documents.
• Maintain accurate digital and physical records with audit readiness.
• Track documentation SLAs and resolve discrepancies proactively.
• Monitor KPIs, prepare MIS reports, and identify process improvements.
• Escalate critical operational issues and support cross-functional initiatives.
