Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; logistics or supply chain qualification preferred.
• Experience in yard, fleet, transportation or logistics operations.
• Knowledge of vehicle placement, trip settlement, POD management and fleet coordination.
• Proficient in MS Excel and operational systems.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem solving and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily yard operations, including vehicle placement, loading, unloading and turnaround time.
• Coordinate with the control tower, transporters, and drivers to ensure smooth fleet movement.
• Ensure timely collection of POD and accurate system updates.
• Monitor fleet availability and vehicle readiness for loading and dispatch.
• Handle customer communication, operational escalations, and issue resolution within defined timelines.
• Supervise yard safety, maintenance, discipline and operational compliance.
• Ensure timely trip settlement, driver verification and ledger updates.
• Maintain accurate operational MIS reports and coordinate with Finance for cash and diesel reconciliation.
• Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and service levels.

• Ensure timely collection of Proof of Delivery (POD) and accurate system updates.
• Monitor fleet availability and vehicle readiness for loading and dispatch.
