Job summary

Tata Capital is seeking a Sales Officer (Microfinance) to drive disbursement targets and manage collections across designated territories in Tamil Nadu, Karur. You will identify JLG opportunities, build field teams, and expand the customer base while maintaining portfolio quality.

The role requires a graduate with sales flair and customer-service focus; freshers are welcome up to the experience range, with on-ground field activity and strong relationship-building. Located in Tamil Nadu, India.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Experience in microfinance or familiarity with JLG model preferred.
• Freshers to experienced candidates; sales aptitude encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Disbursement targets, delinquency management, and daily/weekly collections targets.
• Identify Joint liability Groups and disbursed loans to suit target customers and geographies.
• Field visits, centre meetings, and loan applicant assessments.
• Maintain portfolio quality by tracking delinquencies and frauds.
• Build relationships with clients and promote brand in the field.

Job description

• To ensure the achievement of disbursement targets with minimum delinquency
• Identifying Joint liability Groups & disbursed loans, to suit the target customers and geographies.
• Enabling business growth by developing and managing a teams across assigned territories for deeper market penetration and reach.
• Assess potential client base and product acceptability in new regions, areas & opportunities for geographical expansion of operational areas.
• Disbursement, repayment and delinquency management, achieving daily / weekly collections targets
• Makes a close follow up of the disbursed loans, especially of the ones not paying on time.
• Undertake regular field visits, Centre Meeting and loan applicants
• Maintaining portfolio quality by tracking & controlling Normal dues, Nonstarters, Delinquency, & Frauds.
• Build strong client relationships both internally and externally and build a strong brand identification with potential customers.
• Ensuring weekly / daily meetings & visit to centre

• Basic understanding about Microfinance business and JLG model working would be preferred.
