Responsibilities

• Start up, run and shut down boilers and auxiliary units safely.
• Watch steam pressure, temperature, water levels, and fuel combustion system via gauges or panels.
• Oversee feed water quality, chemical dosing, water treatment, and fuel consumption ratio.
• Start up, operate, and shut down high-pressure boilers, steam turbines, and related valves or pumps.
• Perform routine inspections, test safety devices like low-water cut-offs, and clear blockages.
• Maintain accurate shift logs, record malfunctions, and report maintenance needs.

• Parameter Monitoring: Watch steam pressure, temperature, water levels, and fuel combustion system, feed water system, via gauges or control panels.
• Water & Fuel Management: Oversee feed water quality, chemical dosing, water treatment, and fuel consumption ratio.
• System Operations: Start up, safely operate, and shut down high-pressure boilers, steam turbines, and related valves or pumps.
• Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine inspections, test safety devices like low-water cut-offs, and clear equipment blockages.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate shift logs, record malfunctions, and report maintenance needs.
