Job summary

PRESPL in Dahej and Ankleshwar (Gujarat) is seeking a Boiler Operator to load fuel and water into the boiler and supervise plant operations. The role involves safe start-up/shut-down of boilers, monitoring control parameters, and ensuring compliance with HSSE standards.

The incumbent will coordinate with maintenance teams, monitor meters and indicators, and handle routine tasks as directed by management. Experience with biomass fuel systems and boiler auxiliaries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safe shut down and start-up of boilers & boiler auxiliaries; adjust controls of biomass fuel, water, compressors and steam for optimal operation.
• Hand over equipment for maintenance & inspection and take over after maintenance.
• Observe pressure, temperature, and draft meters to verify automatic combustion control systems and feed water regulators.
• Maintain confidentiality of database, technological initiatives and business plans of the Company.
• Monitor HSSE/EHS standards at project sites in consultation with Site In-Charge and per Company Policy.
• Any task assigned by Management.

Job description

1. Basic Function

• Responsible for the loading of the fuel & water into the boiler.

2. Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

• Responsible for safe shut down and start-up of boilers & boiler auxiliaries. To make sure that the boilers are operating at an optimal condition and adjust the controls of Biomass fuel, water, compressors and steam.
• Handing over of equipment for maintenance & inspection and taking over after maintenance.
• Observes pressure, temperature, and draft meters on panel to verify specified operation of automatic combustion control systems, feed water regulators.
• Ensure secrecy of database, technological initiatives and business plans of the Company
• Monitoring and supervision of insurances.
• Ensure secrecy of database, technological initiatives and business plans of the Company.
• Monitor HSSE / EHS standards of Project Sites in consultation with Sites in Charge and as per Company Policy
• Any task assigned by Management.
