Job summary

Sanra Biosciences Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Operator to operate and monitor plant utilities and engineering equipment safely and efficiently in line with cGMP, SOPs, safety requirements and approved operating procedures.

You will support routine operation, monitoring, basic maintenance and timely reporting of abnormalities to ensure reliable operation of plant utilities and equipment. The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs and GMP in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on knowledge of HVAC, boiler, chiller, cooling tower and water systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of autoclave, ETP/STP, nitrogen plant and compressed air system operation is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical panels, motors, pumps, wiring and equipment troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor HVAC systems, chillers, cooling towers, nitrogen plant, compressed air plant and electric boilers as per approved SOPs.
• Operate and monitor water systems, including WFI and PW systems.
• Monitor and record operating parameters of engineering equipment at defined intervals.
• Monitor ETP and STP systems and carry out routine operational activities as instructed.
• Perform routine inspection of pumps, motors, electrical panels, equipment and utility systems.
• Maintain engineering logbooks, equipment checklists, operation records and other applicable documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of utility and engineering areas.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements and approved engineering SOPs.
• Immediately escalade critical equipment or utility failures, safety concerns and abnormal operating conditions.
• Support installation, commissioning and qualification activities as assigned.
