Job summary

Gharda Chemicals (GCL) seeks a skilled boiler operation and maintenance technician to ensure a steady steam and utility supply for the plant. The role covers 14 TPH coal-fired boiler, 12 TPH LSHS oil-fired boiler operation and their accessories, with care taken to follow safety and regulatory standards.

You'll maintain hourly logs, execute planned shutdowns, and perform preventive maintenance while seeking energy-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• Operate boilers and associated utility systems safely and efficiently.
• Maintain and record hourly parameters in daily log sheets.
• Perform preventive maintenance and energy conservation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain boilers and utility systems to ensure uninterrupted steam and utility supply.
• Record hourly parameters in daily logs and report abnormalities to supervisor.
• Execute preventive maintenance as per schedule and participate in energy conservation efforts.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

To operate, monitor, and maintain boilers and associated utility systems safely and efficiently to ensure uninterrupted steam and utility supply to the plant. (Operation & Maintenance Steam Boilers 14 TPH Coal Fired Boiler & 12 TPH LSHS Oil Fired Boiler - Boiler annual inspection work, maintenance of accessories, water softness, pressure reducing valves, steam traps. Operation & Maintenance Of Utility equipment (Air compressor , Chilling Plant , Cooling tower , N2 Plant , DG Sets etc. ))Operation & Maintenance Steam Boilers 14 TPH Coal Fired Boiler & 12 TPH LSHS Oil Fired Boiler . Report any abnormalities or provide feedback to superior immediately. Maintain & Record hourly parameters in daily log sheets As per schedule shutdown jobs execution with in time frame. As per schedule preventive maintenance jobs execution To identify & take initiatives for energy conservation, To identify & control energy losses. Critical Eqpt condition monitoring and follow up Respective section statutory and Legal compliance work to be carried out. Helps to Varoius Audit points implementation Undestanding and cooperating the new technology and compliance.
