Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Branch Manager for Gold Loans in India. The role focuses on driving branch performance, growing loan book, and ensuring high service standards at the branch level.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in gold loans, strong leadership, and a solid grasp of RBI/KYC compliance. You will oversee daily operations, risk controls, and staff development while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Gold Loans.
• Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
• Strong sales, leadership, and relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of RBI guidelines, KYC and risk/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Drive branch business by achieving gold loan disbursement and revenue targets.
• Acquire new customers and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Manage overall branch operations, including loan processing, disbursement, renewals, and closures.
• Ensure accurate gold appraisal and valuation as per company policies.
• Monitor portfolio quality, collections, overdue accounts, and NPAs.
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, internal policies, audit, and KYC requirements.
• Lead, train, and monitor branch staff to improve productivity and service quality.
• Handle customer grievances and deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain branch security, vault management, and operational controls.
