Job summary

Satven seeks an experienced BIW Fixture Design Engineer to design fixtures with detailed BOP for AP programs. You will contribute hands-on fixture design, leverage NX/CATIA, Teamcenter and Vismockup, and apply locator strategies with NAMS standards.

The role requires practical knowledge of pneumatic and clamp specifications and is suited for immediate or short-notice candidates ready to join Chennai-based projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on BIW fixture design experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of BIW processes and welding is expected.
• Experience with NX, CATIA, Teamcenter, and Vismockup is preferred.
• Good understanding of locator strategy is essential.
• Familiarity with NAMS standards and pneumatic/clamp specs is needed.

Responsibilities

• Support design of BIW fixtures with detailed BOP for AP programs.
• Apply NX/CATIA and Teamcenter data for fixture development.
• Assess and implement locator strategies for accurate fitting.
• Ensure pneumatic and clamp specifications meet standards.

Role & responsibilities

The Concept Fixture Design WILL INCLUDE engineering support required to Design Concept Fixture Design with detail BOP for AP Programs.

• a. Excellent hands on experience in BIW Fixture designing. Good Knowledge on BIW Process, welding process.
• b. Experience in working NX and Catia, Teamcenter, Vismockup & kinematics
• c. Good Knowledge on understanding Locator strategy.
• d. Good Knowledge on NAMS standards and Pneumatic and clamp specifications.
