Job summary

Oasis Engineering in Pune seeks a Sr. Design Engineer / Design Engineer Assembly Fixture Design to develop assembly and welding fixtures, conveyors and tooling. The role emphasizes 3D modeling and detailed drawings to ensure manufacturability and reliability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform DFM/DFA analyses, conduct stress studies, and maintain revision-controlled design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 1–5 years fixture design and CAD modeling experience.
• Proficiency in Solid Edge.
• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design assembly and welding fixtures and tooling using Solid Edge.
• Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and production teams.

Job Title: Sr. Design Engineer / Design Engineer Assembly Fixture Design,

Location: Pune Experience: 1-5 years

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with expertise in UG - NX software with experience in Assemble fixture design, Welding Fixture Design, Conveyors & Tooling Design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative fixture designs, creating 3D models and detailed drawings, and ensuring the manufacturability and functionality of designs for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Assembly fixtures, Welding Fixtures, and tooling using Solid Edge software.
• Create 3D models, detailed 2D drawings, and BOMs for manufacturing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and production, to ensure design feasibility.
• Perform DFM, DFA analysis to optimize fixture designs.
• Conduct stress analysis and tolerance stack-up to ensure design reliability.
• Modify and improve existing designs based on testing and customer feedback.
• Maintain design documentation, revision control, and compliance with industry standards.
• Work closely for material selection and manufacturing feasibility.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 1-5 years of experience in Fixture design, Material Handling Equipments and CAD modelling.
• Proficiency in Solid Edge software (3D modeling, drafting, assembly design).
• Strong knowledge of fixture design principles, machining processes, and material selection.
• Experience in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and engineering drawing standards.
• Hands‑on experience in sheet metal, welded structures, and fabrication techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects.
