Job summary

Tech Mahindra in Bengaluru seeks a Mechanical Engineer with BIW design experience and CATIA V5 proficiency to design body panels and assemblies for passenger car platforms. Candidates must have strong CAD skills and knowledge of automotive DFx processes.

Applicants should be ready for an in-person CATIA test and must meet the stated educational criteria to be considered for the role.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• BIW Design experience required.
• CATIA V5 – Surface Modelling, Solid Modelling, Sheet Metal, Assembly, DMU Check and Drafting.
• Experience in Bonnet, Fender, Door, Tailgate and Body Panel Design.
• Knowledge of DFx, tooling, joineries, fixings and automotive OEM processes.
• BIW Design experience mandatory.
• BIW Fixture Design and Bus/Commercial Vehicle experience not considered.
• Must attend in-person CATIA tool test.
