Job summary

Eminence HR seeks a BIM QS MEP in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The role focuses on preparing and reviewing MEP quantity take-offs and BOQs using BIM models and drawings, and extracting quantities for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and other MEP services.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / MEP Engineering or relevant qualification.
• Candidates with relevant BIM + Quantity Surveying experience in MEP projects are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review MEP quantity take-offs and BOQs using BIM models and drawings.
• Extract quantities for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and other MEP services.
• Develop and maintain accurate BIM-based quantity estimates.
• Review MEP drawings and BIM models to identify quantity discrepancies and clashes.
• Assist in cost estimation, material take-offs and tender documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and project teams.
• Compare BOQ quantities with actual site requirements and project drawings.
• Support preparation of variation statements, rate analysis and cost reports.
• Ensure quantity calculations and project documentation are accurate and up to date.
• Participate in project/site meetings and provide QS-related technical support.
