The role focuses on producing accurate BIM models, shop drawings, quantity take-offs, and construction documentation while adhering to BIM standards and project timelines. You will collaborate with BIM Leads and Project Managers, execute clash detection, and ensure quality across all project deliverables.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 2+ years of experience in Mechanical BIM projects preferred.
• Exposure to international BIM standards and project environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• BIM Project Delivery: develop and manage Mechanical BIM models, produce shop drawings, ensure timely deliverables; participate in clash detection and coordination.
• Team Coordination: distribute tasks, review models and drawings, mentor junior members, coordinate with BIM Leads and Project Managers.
• Quality Assurance & Documentation: ensure accuracy per BIM standards, conduct model audits, prepare submission docs and maintain project records.
• Technical Responsibilities: manage RFIs, perform quantity take-offs from BIM models, support 4D scheduling and value engineering.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Mechanical to support the delivery of BIM projects by leading modeling activities, coordinating project deliverables, ensuring quality compliance, and mentoring team members. The candidate will play a key role in producing accurate BIM models, shop drawings, quantity take-offs, and construction documentation while adhering to project timelines and BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Project Delivery

• Develop and manage Mechanical BIM models in accordance with project requirements and BIM standards.
• Execute the production of BIM models and shop drawings for construction projects.
• Ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and within project schedules.
• Participate in multidisciplinary coordination and clash detection activities.

Team Coordination

• Distribute project tasks among team members and monitor progress.
• Review and validate models, drawings, and deliverables prepared by team members.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
• Coordinate with BIM Leads, Project Managers, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues.

Quality Assurance & Documentation

• Ensure model and drawing accuracy based on BIM standards, project workflows, and quality checklists.
• Conduct model audits and quality reviews before submissions.
• Prepare documentation and reports required for project submissions.
• Maintain project records and ensure compliance with company quality procedures.

Technical Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage RFIs (Requests for Information) and technical clarifications.
• Perform quantity extraction and verification from BIM models.
• Support project planning through 4D scheduling and construction sequencing.
• Identify opportunities for Value Engineering and design optimization.
• Assist in coordination meetings and provide technical inputs for project execution.
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical BIM Modeling, Coordination, and Shop Drawing Production.
• Understanding of BIM execution plans, standards, and project workflows.
• Experience in model review, clash detection, and quality control processes.
• Knowledge of quantity take-offs and construction documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Software Proficiency

• Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
