Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Chennai is seeking a BIM Specialist to develop and maintain 3D BIM models in line with BEP and client specifications.

You will extract drawings and schedules, support quantity estimation, and collaborate with architecture, structure, and MEP teams to ensure design accuracy and data integrity across project documents.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Strong ability to read construction drawings and detailing.
• Basic knowledge across Architecture, Structure, and MEP.
• Model according to BEP and client requirements.
• Adherence to company standards, naming conventions, and modeling guidelines.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Create and update 3D parametric BIM models.
• Extract drawings, sections, schedules, and assist QS/project teams by extracting quantities.
• Input and manage asset data, specifications, and parameters.
• Maintain object libraries and family components.
• Update project databases with accurate information.
• Ensure consistency between model data and project documents.
• Support clash detection and issue resolution processes.
• Follow BIM standards and execution plans.
• Coordinate with engineers and leads for design accuracy.
• Model updates and issue tracking.
• Eagerness to learn and follow instructions.
