Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Chennai is seeking a BIM Modeler to develop 3D parametric BIM models using Tekla, Trimble Connect and AutoCAD, aligned with project BEPs and client requirements. Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software including Tekla, Trimble Connect and AutoCAD.
• Ability to read construction drawings and detailing.
• Basic interdisciplinary knowledge spanning Architecture, Structure, and MEP.
• Develop models per BEP and client requirements.
• Adherence to company standards, naming conventions and modeling guidelines.
• Create and update 3D parametric BIM models.
• Extract drawings, sections and schedules; assist QS and project teams with quantities.
• Input and manage asset data, specifications and parameters.
• Maintain object libraries and family components.
• Ensure data consistency between BIM models and project documents.
• Support clash detection and issue resolution.
• Follow BIM standards and execution plans.
• Coordinate with engineers and leads for design accuracy.
• Model updates and issue tracking.
