Job summary

Assystem is seeking a BIM Modeller responsible for developing and managing detailed 3D models using BIM software. The role supports design and construction teams, ensuring accurate model creation and documentation.

The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in Civil/Architecture/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and 3–8 years of BIM modelling experience, preferably in infrastructure projects. Comprehensive knowledge of BIM standards is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in BIM modelling.
• Experience in Metro, Railway, or Infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings.

Job Summary

The BIM Modeller is responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating detailed 3D models using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software. The role supports design, engineering, and construction teams by ensuring accurate model creation, clash detection, and documentation in accordance with project standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Prepare detailed drawings, shop drawings, and construction documentation from BIM models.
• Coordinate with design engineers and consultants to ensure model accuracy and completeness.
• Perform clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Ensure compliance with project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and company BIM standards.
• Update models based on design revisions and site feedback.
• Extract quantities and generate reports from BIM models.
• Maintain proper file management and version control as per project protocols.
• Participate in coordination meetings and provide model-based inputs.
