Job summary

Unique Electro Engineers is seeking a skilled billing professional for electrical MEP projects in Lucknow. You will prepare RA bills, client invoices, and subcontractor bills, ensuring timely cash flow and contract compliance.

The role requires strong Excel skills, reading drawings, quantity verification against BOQs, and coordination with site teams, accounts, and consultants. Prior experience in residential/commercial building projects is preferred.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Electrical Engineering required or equivalent.
• 25 years of experience in MEP/Electrical billing.
• Experience in electrical contracting or MEP companies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit RA (Running Account) Bills for electrical works.
• Prepare client bills as per work completed and contract terms.
• Prepare subcontractor bills and verify quantities before processing.
• Ensure timely billing to maintain project cash flow.
• Measure work executed from site drawings and site records.
• Verify quantities as per BOQ, work orders, and approved drawings.
• Prepare quantity reconciliation reports and track variations.
• Monitor project quantities against contract values and assist cost control.
• Maintain billing trackers, project progress reports and MIS.
• Coordinate with accounts regarding billing and payment status.
• Maintain all billing-related documentation and prepare rate analysis.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for bill certification.
• Maintain records of approved drawings, work orders, and payment certificates.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Clients, Consultants, and Accounts.
• Follow up for bill approvals and payment certifications.
• Prepare weekly and monthly billing status reports.

Key Responsibilities

Project Billing

• Prepare and submit RA (Running Account) Bills for electrical works.
• Prepare client bills as per work completed and contract terms.
• Prepare subcontractor bills and verify quantities before processing.
• Ensure timely billing to maintain project cash flow.

Quantity Verification

• Measure work executed from site drawings and site records.
• Verify quantities as per BOQ, work orders, and approved drawings.
• Prepare quantity reconciliation reports.
• Track variations, extra items, and deviations from BOQ.

Cost & Commercial Management

• Monitor project quantities against contract values.
• Assist in project cost control and profitability analysis.
• Maintain billing trackers and project progress reports.
• Coordinate with the accounts department regarding billing and payment status.

Documentation

• Maintain all billing-related documentation.
• Prepare rate analysis for non-BOQ and extra items.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for bill certification.
• Maintain records of approved drawings, work orders, and payment certificates.

Coordination

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Clients, Consultants, and Accounts Department.
• Resolve billing-related queries raised by clients or consultants.
• Follow up for bill approvals and payment certifications.

Reporting

• Prepare weekly and monthly billing status reports.
• Maintain project-wise billing, certification, and outstanding payment trackers.
• Generate MIS reports related to project billing.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Electrical MEP Billing.
• Experience in residential and commercial building projects.
• Good understanding of BOQs, work orders, tender documents, and contracts.
• Knowledge of RA Bills, quantity surveying, and rate analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
• Ability to read electrical drawings and coordinate with site teams.
• Good communication and professional email writing skills.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
