Job summary

Ahluwalia Contracts is seeking an experienced MEP billing professional to manage quantity surveying, BOQ, rate analysis and client/subcontractor billing for large building projects. You will handle SAP-based processes, prepare MIS reports in Excel and interpret MEP drawings and contracts.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in MEP billing, exposure to high-rise, hospitality or large developments, and a strong command of SAP-based commercial workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of MEP quantity surveying and billing.
• Excellent understanding of BOQ, rate analysis, measurements, contracts and billing procedures.
• Strong knowledge of client and subcontractor billing.
• Experience in variation, deviation, extra item and claim management.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and preparation of billing/MIS reports.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, specifications and contractual documents.

• Hands-on experience in:

  • ELV / Low Voltage Systems
  • Building Management / related MEP services
• Excellent understanding of BOQ, rate analysis, measurements, contracts and billing procedures.
• Strong knowledge of client and subcontractor billing.
• Experience in variation, deviation, extra item and claim management.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and preparation of billing/MIS reports.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, specifications and contractual documents.

Education & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Quantity Surveying/Construction Management qualification will be an added advantage.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in MEP billing/commercial functions.
• Must have significant experience in building construction projects such as residential, commercial, high-rise, hospitality, mixed-use, hospitals, malls or large developments.
• Candidates from MEP contractors, EPC companies, PMC or major real estate/building construction companies are preferred.
• Strong experience in SAP-based commercial/billing processes is mandatory.
