Billing is responsible for preparing and processing patient bills accurately and efficiently for hospital services. The includes charge verification, payment collection, billing reconciliation, insurance and TPA coordination where applicable, and maintaining complete billing documentation to support smooth patient services and accurate revenue recording.

• Prepare and process OPD, IPD, diagnostic, and procedure bills.
• Verify patient details and billing information.
• Ensure accurate entry of services, procedures, medicines, and consumables.
• Review applicable service charges and billing records.
• Prepare estimates, interim bills, and final bills as required.
• Process authorized cash, card, and digital payments.
• Issue receipts and maintain payment records.
• Coordinate with clinical departments for charge verification.
• Assist with insurance and TPA billing requirements.
• Support pre-authorization and claim documentation where applicable.
• Handle routine billing queries from patients and attendants.
• Monitor pending bills and outstanding amounts.
• Process approved discounts, refunds, and adjustments.
• Perform billing and payment reconciliation.
• Coordinate with accounts and finance departments.
• Assist with discharge billing and final settlement.
