Job summary

ZIM Integrated Shipping Services in Mumbai is seeking a shipping documentation professional to drive adoption of electronic Bills of Lading and streamline end-to-end B/L processes.

You will coordinate with customers to shift to the digital platform, ensure a smooth E/BL journey, and respond promptly to queries about benefits, while maintaining service excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of shipping documentation and international trade practices.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, Sea Waybill, Telex Release, and Express Release.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• 2–5 years of experience in Shipping, Freight Forwarding, NVOCC, Logistics or Documentation Operations.
• Hands-on experience in Bill of Lading preparation and documentation processes.
• Customer-centric approach.
• Strong communication skills.
• Problem-solving ability.

The candidate will be responsible:

1. Convince the currents set of ZIM customers to move from Manual mod to electronic mode of Bill of Lading, by having a thorough knowledge of end-to-end Bill of Lading documentation processes;

2. Coordinate with customers and move them to digital platform of Bill of lading; Promote a positive customer experience throughout the E/BL adoption journey;

3. Respond promptly to customer queries related to the benefits of moving to electronic Bills of Lading platform.
