Job summary

Techlanz Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on Battery Production Technician to assemble battery packs, modules, and BMS, perform basic tests, and ensure quality. You will follow SOPs, handle cells safely, and maintain the production area, contributing to reliable EV technology.

The role emphasizes wiring, soldering, spot welding, and using common testing equipment while upholding safety and documentation standards within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• ITI/ diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Freshers are welcome and 0–2 years experience is preferred.
• Hands-on workshop or internship experience is advantageous.
• Candidates with project or industrial training are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assemble battery cells, modules, BMS, wires, connectors and components.
• Perform spot welding, soldering, wire cutting, crimping per instructions.
• Ensure proper alignment, insulation, wiring and mechanical assembly.
• Conduct basic battery and electrical tests with standard equipment.
• Check for damages or incorrect connections and defects.
• Follow drawings, SOPs, and checklists; maintain quality and accuracy.
• Record production, testing and inspection details accurately.
• Handle cells and components safely per instructions.
• Maintain tools, fixtures, equipment and work area.
• Follow safety practices, including ESD and battery safety.
• Identify issues and report to Production/Engineering.
• Support Quality and Engineering during testing and improvements.

Job description

As a Battery Production Technician, you will work hands-on with battery cells, battery modules, BMS, wiring, and other components used in battery pack manufacturing.You will be responsible for following production processes, assembling battery packs carefully, performing basic electrical tests, maintaining quality, and keeping the production area organized and safe.

Job Responsibilities

KEY DELIVERABLES OF THE ROLE

• Assemble battery cells, modules, BMS, wires, connectors, and other battery pack components.
• Perform spot welding, soldering, wire cutting, crimping, and basic electrical assembly as per the process instructions.
• Ensure proper cell alignment, insulation, wiring, and mechanical assembly.
• Perform basic battery and electrical tests using equipment such as multimeter, insulation tester, and battery testing equipment .
• Check battery cells and assemblies for physical damage, incorrect connections, or other defects.
• Follow production drawings, work instructions, SOPs, and checklists.
• Maintain proper quality and accuracy during every stage of battery assembly.
• Record production, testing, and inspection details accurately.
• Handle battery cells and components carefully as per safety instructions.
• Maintain tools, fixtures, equipment, and the production work area.
• Follow ESD, electrical safety, battery safety, and workplace safety practices.
• Identify production issues and immediately report them to the Production/Engineering team.
• Support Quality and Engineering teams during testing, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
• Maintain proper handling and storage of battery cells, components, tools, and consumables.
• Support packing and dispatch preparation of completed battery packs

Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automobile , or related field.
• Freshers are welcome.
• 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, electronics, electrical assembly, EV, battery, or similar industries is preferred.
• Internship, industrial training, or hands‑on project experience will be an advantage.
• Candidates with hands‑on workshop, project, internship, or industrial training experience are encouraged to apply.
