Job summary

ProLegion seeks a seasoned Plant Head to lead a 10 GWh Li-ion battery pack assembly facility setup and operations. You will own end-to-end responsibility from commissioning to production, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in plant leadership, experience with greenfield facilities, and strong knowledge of automation, EHS, and supply chain to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in plant/manufacturing leadership.
• Strong experience in Li-ion battery pack assembly, BESS, EV batteries, or related manufacturing.
• Proven experience in greenfield plant setup and commissioning.
• Experience handling large-scale manufacturing operations and teams.
• Strong knowledge of quality, EHS, automation, production planning, and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead greenfield plant setup, commissioning, and production ramp-up.
• Manage Li-ion battery pack/BESS manufacturing operations at scale.
• Drive productivity, yield, OEE, quality, cost, and delivery KPIs.
• Oversee plant layout, equipment selection, automation, and processes.
• Implement MES, automation, digital manufacturing, and traceability systems.
• Manage senior engineers, supervisors, technicians, and plant workforce.
• Ensure Li-ion battery safety, EHS, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with Engineering, SCM, Quality, EHS, Technology, and vendors.
• Manage components including cells, modules, BMS, enclosures, and raw materials.
• Foster a culture of safety, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and accountability.

About the Role
