Job summary

EliteHire Placement Solutions is seeking a Production Manager for its battery production operations in India. You will lead daily manufacturing, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires 7–13 years in battery manufacturing, a B.Tech/B.E, and hands-on experience with 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and cell-level testing. You will train operators, coordinate maintenance, and set up new plant processes.

Qualifications

• 7–13 years of experience in battery production management.
• Graduate engineer with Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication/Mech background.
• Experience with 5S, Kaizen, TPM and lean tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lithium-ion battery production operations.
• Ensure quality checks and corrective actions to minimize defects.
• Coordinate maintenance with the maintenance team and ensure uptime.
• Lead production planning, dispatch MIS, and meet targets.
• Train operators and mentor junior engineers.

Managed Battery assembly, coating & formation in daily production. Ensured quality checks & implemented corrective actions to minimize defects. Coordinated equipment uptime & preventive maintenance with the maintenance team. Applied 5S, Kaizen & lean tools to boost productivity and minimize waste. Trained operators and enforced strict safety & SOP compliance. Set up a new plant from scratch and managed lead‑acid battery production operations. Maintained high product quality through Smart BMS, IoT, SOP, and BOM implementation. Improved efficiency using TPM, 5S, 7 QC tools, and conducted regular team training. Handled production planning, dispatch MIS, and mentored junior engineers for better teamoutput. Achieved production targets consistently in lithium‑ion battery assembly. Operated spot welding, laser printing, soldering, and battery testing processes. Trained manpower and handled Li‑ion battery troubleshooting independently.
